How do I check if I need a visa for my destination?

Use the visa checker above: select your nationality and destination to see whether your trip is visa-free, needs an eVisa, allows a visa on arrival, or requires a visa in advance. Always confirm with the official embassy before you travel.

What is an eVisa and how is it different from a visa on arrival?

An eVisa is applied for and approved online before you travel, then linked to your passport electronically. A visa on arrival is issued at the border when you land, usually for a fee and on presentation of supporting documents.

Do I need a transit visa if I am just changing planes?

It depends on the country and whether you leave the international transit area. Many airports allow transit without a visa, but some destinations require a transit visa even for short connections. Check the rules for every layover on your itinerary.

How long before my trip should I apply for a visa?

Apply as early as possible. eVisas can be approved within days, while embassy visas can take several weeks during busy periods. We recommend starting at least four to six weeks before departure.

Is the visa guidance on this page legally binding?

No. The information here is indicative and intended to help you plan. Visa rules change frequently, so always verify requirements with the official government, embassy, or consulate for your destination before booking travel.

eVisa & on arrival

Many countries now offer an eVisa you apply for online, or a visa on arrival issued at the border. Always keep six months of passport validity and blank pages.

Add travel insurance and an eSIM so you land covered and connected.
